New to Cloth Diapering – Love Them!
By Leah Douglas
This won’t be the most helpful review because Charlie Bananas are the only cloth diaper I have any experience with, but as a mom who has *never* done ANY sort of cloth diapering before, I’m a huge fan! We were easily spending $60 a month on disposables and we decided we should go ahead and invest in a cloth diaper to see how it worked. We tried these, and they’ve been fabulous! My little guy is 9 months old now and we’ve been doing this for a few weeks. No leaks. At all. Ever. If he’s only got a wet diaper, then I just pull out the wet insert, put a dry one in (the fleece pocket always stays dry!) and we keep doing this until we come up with a poopy diaper. Then it’s on to the next diaper cover. This way we only use maybe 3 diapers a day (though many more inserts). I now have 8 Charlie Bananas (One Size) and if I faithfully do laundry every other day, we’re just fine! No need to spend more than $150 or so total on cloth diapers! We’ve still been using disposables at night, but things have been going so well, I’m about to start trying to use them at night too, just double up on the inserts.
I must say though, we went through SO many diapers when Baby was new and tiny, so I’m not sure that I would do cloth in the early stages. At least, not at this point in my life. I’ll probably try with the next infant, but I’m not expecting to succeed. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Great cloth diapers
By Bree’s Mom
I have Charlie Banana and Fuzzibunz one size cloth diapers.
What I love about Charlie Banana:
1. I love that the fleece wicks the moisture away from my baby’s bottom (Fuzzibunz is the same)
2. I love that the legs have an elastic band that I can adjust to fit her (Fuzzibunz has leg and waist elastic adjustments)
3. I love that there are extra snaps at the waist (allowing it to overlap) so that the diaper fits her snugly as she is tiny (Fuzzibunz does not)
4. I love that the diaper will grow with her (Fuzzibunz is the same)
5. I love that I don’t have to deal with pre folds or diaper covers (Fuzzibunz is the same)
6. I love that I am not adding to landfills
I only have one complaint and it is minor. My Fuzzibunz diapers have elastic at the leg and waist. Charlie Banana only has the leg. I wish Charlie Banana had the adjustable elastic waist as my daughter is about to become too big for the waist where it is snapped right now but too small for the next snap on the diaper. I would feel more confident in the diaper if I could adjust the waist better.
These are great cloth diapers and are easy to use and clean. I have a two day supply on hand and wash them at night before bed. I have not had any issues with staining either. I do rinse the poop diapers out prior to placing them in the diaper pail until they are washed. I have been told that I do not need to do that with these diapers as they are fleece and the poop will wash right off but I am hesitant to change up the routine right now.

The BEST everyday cloth diaper!!!
By Creative Thinker
I have Charlie Banana, Fuzzi Bunz, Blueberry, Bum Genius 4.0, gDiapers, and CuteyBaby cloth diapers and these are by far the best everyday cloth diaper!!! These OS pocket diapers are super soft, extremely adjustable with waist and leg elastics and have a 3 snap closure system. They are extremely absorbent and virtually leak free.
